March 22, 2024
Today, 22 March, we celebrate World Water Day, a date that since 1993 invites us to reflect on the importance of this essential resource for life. On a planet with 8 billion inhabitants, it is alarming that 25% of the world's population still lacks easy access to drinking water. This reality underlines the urgency of acting jointly and responsibly.
As a member of WAS (Women Action Sustainability), I am proud to announce that we have launched our first report on water management and sustainability, a collaborative project involving state, business and citizens. You can download the full report here: WAS Report - Water.
It is essential to continue working on sustainable solutions to ensure that water, the source of life, is available to all and does not become a source of conflict.
