Ana Alcaraz
Ana is a specialist in social project management and Social Responsibility, and an associate university lecturer in Sociology, Business Ethics and Sustainability at the Universitat de València and ESIC. She is founder and director of Esfera Social Consultoría, specialising in consultancy, training and research on Social Responsibility and Sustainability for SMEs, Public Administrations and Universities.
Throughout her professional career, she has managed social, editorial, communication and journalism projects in Spain, Japan and Chile. With more than 30 years of professional experience, he has led multidisciplinary and multinational teams, and has coordinated projects at international level, such as the creation of the Global University of Peace Boat. In addition, she has represented social entities in international forums, including UN summits and UNESCO global campaigns.
Ana is a member of the Board of Directors of the RS in Action Association and participates in several international sustainability networks, such as the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) and the International Network of SDG Promoters. She is also a member of the Talis Research Group at the University of Valencia and a volunteer at the Talis Association and the Novaterra Foundation.
She holds a PhD in Sociology, a postgraduate degree in Social Responsibility, a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Sociology (Social Welfare and Local Development), and a degree in History. She speaks English, Japanese and Catalan.
Ana is also a certified coach and mentor, specialised in accompanying entrepreneurs who want to set up projects aligned with sustainability.
