Funermostra 2025: sustainability, purpose and shared knowledge

Funermostra 2025 once again brought together in Valencia professionals and organisations from the funeral sector united by a common purpose: to move towards more sustainable, humane and conscious models.

For CIRCLE Corporation, taking part with our own stand was an opportunity for connection and reflection. We confirmed that the sector is evolving and that sustainability is no longer seen merely as an environmental trend, but as a new way of understanding funeral services and their social impact.

During the fair, we presented TUMBA Vol. 2025–2026, an editorial project that gathers reflections and tools to help integrate ESG criteria into funeral management, cemeteries and related fields.

TUMBA seeks to inspire dialogue, share knowledge and provide practical resources to move towards a triple-impact model.

This year, our space at Funermostra featured the collaboration of Flores Solidarias, an initiative that provides employment to people experiencing homelessness through the creation and sale of flower bouquets.
Their work combines a solid business model with social impact: each bouquet sold helps to create jobs and dignity, and the initiative collaborates with local farmers to ensure proximity-sourced flowers.
At CIRCLE, we wanted their work to be part of our stand as an expression of emotional sustainability: each flower represented a story that continues.

It was also an honour to take part in the round table of experts on sustainability and transformation in the funeral sector, a space promoted by Grupo Albia, which brought together professionals from different areas of sustainability to reflect on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry in its transition towards more responsible models.

Among the participants, Nuria Capdevila, representing CIRCLE Corporation, shared insights on innovation, purpose and sustainable management, highlighting the importance of integrating sustainability as a cross-cutting process that connects people, businesses and territory.

The discussion was a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and reaffirm the need to build collective knowledge around the future of the funeral sector.

We also experienced a particularly moving moment when Flores Solidarias presented a bouquet to Vicente Aparicio and Beatriz Colombo, in recognition of their career and dedication, during their final year of participation in Funermostra.

A simple yet deeply meaningful gesture that symbolised the affection and gratitude of the entire sector.

Thank you to all the people and organisations who visited our stand and shared their concerns and hopes. Every conversation strengthens our conviction that change in the funeral sector begins with listening and connecting.
